In June the first Race for Life event of Team Gill took place and they are ongoing into July. To-date we have raised over £10,000. I have decided to do another event to boost our fundraising.

Team Gill is in memory of a close friend, Gill, who sadly passed away on 3rd April, just 3 short weeks after receiving her diagnosis with Cancer. Myself and some other unfit friends banded together to join Cancer Research UK's Race for Life to raise funds to fight Cancer in Gill's name. 

So many of us have individually had our lives touched by Cancer, with friends and family having been diagnosed.  Sadly we have lost some of them, but others have lived on and are either in remission or still bravely fighting.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner - it's quick, easy and totally secure.
