Well this year im taking part in Bupa Manchester Run in memory of a very good friend Ian Wilcockson. In December 2012 Ian sadly lost his hard fought battle with cancer....his family and freinds were devastated.

During Ian's battle with cancer The Christies Hospital were a great help to Ian ....not only supporting him but also his family and friends. They organised his wedding at very short noitce and gave Ian his final wish of making his girlfriend Nicki his wife.

The work that they do is important not only to patients but to family members too. So on the 26th May i'll be putting on my running trainers along with Nicki (Ian's wife) Claire and John. As Ian wore a Batman T Shirt on his wedding day in his room at Christies ....we will all be wearing one whilst doing the run....in memory of Ian !! I hope to raise vital funds for this fantastic hospitaland all cancer patients.
