Village by Village works in partnership with those living in poverty in Ghana by building wells, improving sanitation and providing scholarship for children.

In October 2009, I took part in an amazing and very personal challenge to Cycle Tanzania 

I have now agreed to go to a village in Ghana on the edge of a rainforest along with another East Lothian Council employee and another East Lothian resident. We leave at the end of January to provide direct support to people within the village.

I will undertake tasks such as assisting the teacher in the school with arts and crafts and weighing baby's in the outreach clinics.

This year I am only aiming to raise £500 for the charity Village by Village.  This will pay for educational scholarships for 5 children.  Whatever you can donate, it will be much appreciated and will be going to a very worthwhile cause.
