Hello, Thank you for visiting my page. As many of you will know my Mum was diagnosed with cancer last September and has been receiving excellent treatment and care from the St.Luke's Cancer Centre in Guildford. Now those of you who know me so well will not be surprised that I find myself being rallied for this excellent cause and in the need to tug at your purse strings once again while pushing my body to it's limits! On the 23rd October 2008 I will set out on a trek in Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro, to the Roof of Africa, climbing 5895m (19,340 ft) to nearly the maximum altitude that man can experience without breathing assistance. http://www.climbmountkilimanjaro.com/ http://www.royalsurrey.nhs.uk/WardsAndDepartments/Fundraising/StLukesCancerFund.aspx
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St. Luke's Cancer Fund Royal Surrey County Hospital will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Since starting this page, as many of you will know, my Father passed away on the 15th June from a very aggressive type of Cancer of the oespphagus. We are all shocked, stunned and greatly saddened by the loss of this fantastic Husband, Father and Grandad and urge you to give even more generously. Many thanks for your support. A x PS: I am funding my own trip, your donation will NOT be used to fund my travelling cost.
