I am taking part in the AVIV Challenge for a week in April 2010 organised by WIZO.uk. The Aviv Challenge 2010 is a sponsored challenge for women aged 30-45. The aim is to make a difference to the lives of some of the women and children that WIZO supports in Israel.

I will be assisting an existing Wizo project in Israel, which includes: 

Helping to build a dance studio at a residential youth village, providing facilities for immigrant children and for children from troubled households who are survivors of abuse and neglect; and

General renovations, creating a garden and painting a mural at one of WIZO's flagship refuge facilities for abused women
