<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 24.0pt; line-height: normal;">Beautiful Isla Briggs was born 4 months prematurely on 24<sup>th</sup> April 2010, weighing just 470 grams.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 24.0pt; line-height: normal;">Since that day she had not stopped battling for her life, conquering countless critical infections and operations.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As a tribute to this amazing little girl who has the fiercest determination you’ve ever seen and a smile that lights up your heart, I have pledged to help raise funds for much needed neonatal equipment.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 24.0pt; line-height: normal;">On Dec 16<sup>th</sup> I’m flying out to Kenya and will cycle from Mombasa to Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania with three friends.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Camping along the way, with no support other than our trusty bicycles and a few puncture repair kits, this will undoubtedly be the biggest challenge I’ve ever undertaken. All the money goes to First Touch, the charity for the Neonatal unit of St George’s hospital in Tooting where Isla has received the most amazing care. The aim is to buy a specialist incubator which costs around £36,000.00 and is used to transport desperately ill premature babies to hospitals where they can get the best care possible.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 24.0pt; line-height: normal;">The little lady is now six months old and has only just broken through the 5lb barrier. With any luck she will be allowed to go home soon for the first time ever, a monumental milestone for her parents, Phi and Nick who are dear friends of mine.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I would be so very grateful if you could sponsor me for my ride for this very worthy cause.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>With your support we can help other little babies get home too.</p>
