Ameen Siddiqui passed away on 1st December 2007, he was 26 years old. Ameen was a frequent giver in charity and would always help support a cause, whether it be with money, time, or assistance with his own self. He worked hard to build da’wah organisations such as al-Fitrah and Jamattimes. He always encouraged working for the sake of Allaah it was his dream to help his Muslims brothers and sisters in whatever way he could. This project aims to live on this dream, we hope to give the people of Niger and Mali a glimmer of hope by providing the basic necessity that we all take for granted- clean water. We aim to raise £2,500 to cover the cost of building and maintaining a well which will provide water to a whole village. Please donate generously to this praiseworthy cause as Allaah said ‘Spend, O son of Aadam, and I shall spend on you.’” (al-Bukhari & Muslim) Abu Hurayrah reported that Allaah's Messenger sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said: "When a human being dies, all of his deeds are terminated except for three types: an ongoing sadaqah, a knowledge (of Islaam) from which others benefit, and a righteous child who makes du'aa for him." (Muslim and others). Every penny spent on this project will not only benefit you but it will also be sadaqah jariyah for Ameen without diminishing the reward from you. This is from the extensive mercy of Ar- Rahmaan. Jazaakumullaahu khairan May Allaah grant us the ability to achieve this and may the reward reach Ameen for he is in a place now where only this will benefit him. We miss you Ameen, May Allaah have mercy on you, aameen For more information regarding this project please contact an-najwa@hotmail.com www.an-najwa.com
