Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Ameen Siddiqui passed away on 1st December 2007, he was 26 years old. Oh Allah expand his grave and grant him firdous al 'ala, ameen.
Ameen was a frequent giver in charity and would always help support a cause, whether it be with money, time, or assistance with his own self.
He worked hard to build da’wah organisations such as al-Fitrah, 1Eid and Jamattimes.com. He always encouraged working for the sake of Allaah it was his dream to help his Muslims brothers and sisters in whatever way he could.
This project aims to live on this dream, we hope to revive the sunnah of Eid as Ameen would say in all our meetings before the last eid "you know how we do". His ambitions were far greater than his life span. He achieved anything he put his mind and body to by Allah's will. He helped others achieve even more just by his presence. Ameen loved Allah, His messenger, Islam, Muslims and the da'wah. Oh Allah accept our witness of this, ameen.
We aim to raise as much as possible for the upcoming pre eid dinner as well as the actual eid day event. We hope to achieve the following four goals to please Allah azza wajall and to revive the sunnah of our beloved Nabi sul Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam: (full details on the www.1eid.net website)
1. The sunnah of praying away from the masjid is abandoned. It is hijacked. It is kept in the masjid and few if any at all masjid members make any effort to organise it away from the masjid as the sunnah instructs so that more people can attend comfortably and that the non muslims may benefit seeing our spectacular event. (last year we had nearly 8 thousand people pray with us, half were women).
2 The women are abandoned as the hadith clearly commands the women, even the menstruating ones, be brought out. the poor women to even borough jilbab to attend and at least listen to the khutba. in this country the women sit at home cooking kebabs and chapatis while the men pray.
3. Our childrent want to celebrate halloween, xmas, etc.. because eid is very boring and hardly enough for them available in comparison to the other holidays. We need to spend on this event like no other to also amaze the public that we value our faith and our holidays. You shuld see the hindus and sikhs during their holy days. (last year we had a huge fun fair for over 12 thousand muslims (families) to attend and enjoy eid.)
4. Those venues that do cater to the women and children to celebrate do so 2 weeks later or 3 weeks later after eid is already over. It is no longer eid yet the kids are lied to that it is an eid bazaar or eid fun day and eid mubarak all day long. This even further shows our lack of respect for our holiday and deen so they grow up having little respect or love for it.
We are tackling this but are finding it very hard. A massive event indeed. Last year it was huge and we spent thousands. We had only a few hands. We need to make the public aware they owe it to themselves and their children to make it happen again better and bigger insha'Allah. We cannot do it again without the public's help. We nearly broke our backs last year and well now we are broke ourselves lol. Let us know if we have convinced you insha'Allah by donating.

Abu Hurayrah reported that Allaah's Messenger sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said:
"When a human being dies, all of his deeds are terminated except for three types: an ongoing sadaqah, a knowledge (of Islaam) from which others benefit, and a righteous child who makes du'aa for him."
(Muslim and others).
Every penny spent on this project will not only benefit you but it will also be sadaqah jariyah for Ameen without diminishing the reward from you. This is from the extensive mercy of Ar- Rahmaan.

May Allaah grant us the ability to achieve this and may the reward reach Ameen for he is in a place now where only this will benefit him.
