BUPA Great North Run 2008 · 5 October 2008 ·

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

Jodie's Hippos have got two new (land based!) recruits, as Matthew Skelton and myself (Andrew Hunt) will be participating in the BUPA Great North Run 2008 with all sponsorship proceeds going to the Samantha Dickson Trust.

The run takes place in Newcastle on Sunday the 5th of October, and is the world's biggest Half Marathon (in terms of participants). At 13.1 miles long and with more runners participating than there are people in the entire country of Tobago, it should prove quite a challenge for both of us.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (SDBTT) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
