Live Music Now Ireland and The Adelaide and Meath Hospital, Dublin are raising funds to take part in the National Music Day love:live music on 16 April 2010 – a day of free music events across Ireland.
If the target of £400 is achieved, highly skilled and trained LMN musicians will perform for patients, staff and visitors at the hospital throughout the day, offering much needed comfort and entertainment to people at what is often a difficult and stressful time.
Recent research indicates that patients found live music overwhelmingly positive, feeling more relaxed and happier, and that it improved the aesthetic environment of the hospital.
Your donation will help to bring health and happiness to people in hospital and provide performance opportunity and support to young professional musicians.
