Story

FINAL UPDATE

Today is 3rd August and I have just returned from the hairdressers freshly cropped.  Thank you to everyone who has donated and to Sue for making it so easy.  I have updated the photo's with my new do.

UPDATE

The date has now been brought forward to 3rd August!!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to donate my hair to a charity called The Little Princess Trust.  They provide wigs made from real human hair to children who have suffered hair loss through either cancer treatment or alopecia. Without them, lots of children are given artificial wigs which don't look natural, are uncomfortable to wear and do little to boost the confidence of a child who already has enough to deal with.

So, on 18th August, Sue from Revival Hair Studio in Walsall will be cutting my hair shorter than I have ever had it before.  Although I am quite nervous about having it cut so short, I know that it is for a worthy cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
