We would be very grateful for your support as we aim to raise money for a key charity in the fight against oral cancer.
The Ben Walton Trust commemorates Ben Walton and his fight against oral cancer; the Trust is an independent recognised Scottish Charity, which works both nationally in internationally to pursue the aims of:
- Raising awareness of the disease;
- Funding research;
- Encouraging appropriate palliative care.
All money raised will go towards helping the charity realising these goals and every penny can make a difference.
In order to encourage you to dig deep, we are taking part in a number of running events this year for the charity. These include:
The Meadows half marathon (March 6th), the Edinburgh half marathon (April 10th), the EMF Edinburgh half marathon (May 22nd).
Donations of any size are welcome and can be eaily made through JustGiving. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the Ben Walton Trust and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
