A quick note on the event...

Those who know me may point out that a run will be a laugh for me...Sadly...that's not quite so true anymore...Going to uni seems to have equated with cutting down on sport...(and yeah, i do miss sport...I miss the thrill, I miss the competition...and i miss my karate!!!)

So...overexcited  as I am about my project in Kenya...about raising funds for it...I thought a RUN would be the best idea as I am very, very BUSY...but also very very VERY keen and enthusiastic about Kenya.. (and i better start getting fit again for the work i will be doing out there...!Just imagine me mixing cement, building sand dams!!

AS I am now at uni in France (and all your people from Kings, please, please you don't know how relaxed, laid back and chilled  and simply amazing Kings is compared with Sciences PO..) Fundraising is going to more challenging here than if I were in England...

I need your support, especially your lovely English people out there...cuz'..i'm afraid to say France isn't so big on charity ...nor on the concept of fundraising...

Please sponsor my run, I chose a run organised by Handicap International, which means the fee I paid to enter the race will support them too...

10k WILL be a challenge for me...I will go on a few trial runs and evaluate how long it takes me now, and then set myself goals...
