As most of you know my nan suffers from Alzheimers and I wanted to do something to raise money for this amazing charity. Did you know that dementia funding is way below par, meaning that its hard to progress in finding a cure for this disease.

Here's what your money can do:

£50 - could fund one person to go on our one-day Dementia Awareness training course.

£100 - could mean eight callers getting the expert advice and support they need from our National Dementia Helpline.   

£313 - could pay for one person affected by dementia to go to a peer support meeting every week for a year, where they can benefit from emotional support gained through meeting others in the same situation. (This is the total I am aiming to achieve)

£500 - could pay for a brain scan for five participants in a clinical trial to help improve diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. 

£740 - could pay for someone with dementia to enjoy one session of Singing for the Brain® a week for a year.
