Run to the Beat 2008 · 5 October 2008 ·

North London Hospice supports more than 3,500 people with a life-limiting illness each year in the communities of Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. Established in 1984, we are committed to empowering our patients through our vision which is to provide the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone.

Story

So, I am going to attempt to do the Run To The Beat half marathon (that’s 13 miles) in London on the 5th of October. I promise I've been training (a bit), I've even bought some vitamins, I might go so far as to make myself a protein shake. Anyway, it's all for a good cause. The North London Hospice is just up the road from my house and is a really worthwhile charity. I may finish the race a broken woman, but with your sponsorship I will also exude a faint saintly glow, safe in the knowledge that my blistered feet have not been in vain.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: North London Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
