I decided to join Race For Life not only because cancer runs in my family and is a heartbreaking disease but as a challenge to myself. 

As you may know I have suffered with a neurological disorder for the last 2 years which at one point left me unable to leave the house and havng recurrent blackouts. With the hard work from the neuro-physio team at Bath's Royal United Hospital and myself I'm now on the road to recovery. This is a challenge to myself. Even a year ago I struggled to walk further than down the road, now I'm challenging myself to a 5k for a great cause. 

Please sponser me, even just a few pounds really helps and most people's lives will be affected by cancer in one way or another.
