At some point in 2009, I came up with the idea of climbing a few volcanoes for the charity I work for...

Now several months on I'm leading a team of about 12 keen fundraisers who have all pledged to raise £2000 to help some of the poorest children in Guatemala... and I have to meet my target too!

We're climbing 3 enormous volcanoes in Guatemala- 2 of which are active!

We'll come close up to molten lava, we'll camp on the side of the volcanoes and we'll trek to an altitude of nearly 4000 metres.

The trek takes 3 days in total... and is going to be a real test of fitness and determination so I need all the help I can get.... please sponsor me and give me a reason to reach those summits!!

All of your generous donations will go directly to the charity... and will help some of the poorest children in Guatemala to get an education and break out of the poverty cycle. These are children that live in ramshackle tin houses with mud floors and whose parents can't afford to feed and clothe them... the situation they live in is pretty extreme so please please dig deep and give them a better hope for the future.
