Thanks so much for your support. Jo and Amy completed the full 10K on Saturday. Lucie sadly had to postpone as she was called away to do Andrew Lloyd Webber's makeup - and if anyone ever needed a good makeup artist... We will all run the 10K again together later this month and upload the pictures to this website. Thanks to our offline sponsors - Ian and Becky Ham, Becky and Jamie Norton, Iain B. Macdonald, the Gude family, Ness Gibbin and Carol and Gareth Evans. Lucie, Amy and Jo are putting industrial strength bras to the test and running 10K to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust on May 10th. Our friend Ness's niece Izzy is a gorgeous little girl living with CF and we're asking you to dig deep to fund research to help her and others. We're not natural born runners, and this is a one-off, earth-quaking "fun" run, so please donate whatever you can! Some CF facts: Cystic fibrosis is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease. * It kills 5 children every week * Life expectancy is just 31 * 1 in 20 of us in the UK carry the gene... but why are we running for Cystic Fibrosis? Sadly three year old Izzy was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when she was one. She has an hour of treatment every day and she takes up to 10 drugs a day. She'll have this for the rest of her life. Gene therapy could change that. Scientists have not only identified the faulty cystic fibrosis gene, they're also about to start a 3 year test to try and replace this gene in each and every cell. They have something that works in the labs, and now they need to see if it works in reality. But they do believe it could do that. They just need £15m. But if it does work it will be life changing. So thanks for your help. justgiving says: Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cystic Fibrosis Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. We would like to thank Jordan and Jodie Marsh for being body doubles in our earlier photo mail out. Many thanks for your support, Lucie, Jo and Amy
