Our life-changing research can fight diseases, tackle global challenges and change society. At Nottingham, students from all backgrounds can achieve extraordinary things, in and out of the classroom. But talent needs a catalyst. You can shape the future and help make the incredible happen, every day

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am a second year architecture and environmental design student at the University of Nottingham. We are currently raising money to be able to design and build a nursery school in Limpopo, South Africa next Easter. It is one of the poorest, least developed parts of the country, with high levels of unemployment.

Your donation will help provide a bright, clean and safe environment for teaching basic skills, play and music to village children from under one year to seven years old. It will also provide employment for the local women who teach in the créche, cook meals, wipe noses and sing and play with the kids.

Every penny I raise will go directly towards the materials, tools, subcontracted work and project logistics associated with daily transport to the site, flight and accommodation costs are paid by me.

Don’t forget to tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK taxpayer – it will allow the University to claim an additional 25% on your donation.
