Hi lovely person visiting my page!
Thanks for clicking through to visit.
i-eat is a charity that Claire (my wife) has started doing volunteering for - and will hopefully begin counselling at in the next year or so as she progresses through her level 4 qualification. This is a local charity and had only been going just under three years. However, they have one of the best records for 'success stories' with the people they work alongside in the UK.
As someone who stopped fairly short of an eating disorder myself around 13 years ago (yes, something that I hadn't made public until now - it was a huge problem for me for a while) and as someone who had amazing support around me at the time, I know what it means to have someone you can trust to help you through the tough issues.
Working from time to time alongside young people from who struggle with eating, too, makes this charity closer to my heart.
