Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you will be I aware I suffered a large stroke in 2010 leaving me with several difficulties, including brain injury of which I am still recovering from to this day. I was given the heart breaking news that I may lose my job and there would be no way back to being able to perform that job that I had worked so hard for, which was extremely difficult to deal with as well as coping with the injuries I now faced. However upon facing this devastating news I decided to use it to as my motivation to face the biggest fight of my life. For 2 years I spent hours and hours working/training/re-learning how to deal with my injuries, many of those sessions often ending in tears through pain, fear and sometimes of absolute joy at the small hurdles I was overcoming. With the support of my partner Sam, my family and The Stoke Association who gave me the strength to carry on when it got tough I want to be able to thank them by raising as much money as possible. So please help to show your support by donating on my page, even just the smallest amount  makes a difference. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
