During pregnancy my baby was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, I was closely monitored by the cardiac team at Birmingham Children's hospital. This continued after he was born, at just 14 weeks he had successful open heart surgery. The team were fantastic throughout offering the whole family support, including accommodation within the hospital. Our journey is far from over. Oliver will continue to be monitored and will need further interventions as he grows up, as they have given us so much we would like to give something back. Please help us to raise much needed funds to enable them to continue their fantastic work.
