Thank you so much for helping me to reach the 100% target and above!! The 16th October really is not far away now and I can't believe I'm actually going to be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro! It's going to be an amazing experience!
I've climbed Snowdon and been on a 17 mile trek and am finally now pleased with my fitness, just got the last few bits of kit to get and then I'll be ready (hopefully)!

I am doing this Mount Kilimanjaro Trek in memory of my Dad who lost his fight against the disease that is cancer in October 2008 and to raise money for The Helen Rollason Cancer charity who treated him. Dad had malignant melanoma, which as yet has no definative cure! I shall be summitting Kilimanjaro and heading back to safety on the 1 year anniversary of the day Dad passed away so I certainly have a huge drive and a lot of strength to get there!!
Please help me to raise funds for this amazing charity! The money raised can help them to continue their research into a cure for present and future cancer sufferers and to maintain the fab job they are already doing at caring for them!! No matter what Dad was going through or how bad he was feeling he always believed that he would fight it and that one day they would find a cure, he was a very strong man! With this in mind, Dad took part in all drug trials they asked him to so that he was helping in the best way he could. We all miss him very much xxx
