Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m about to take my first tandem skydive on the 29th April and am hoping to raise some money for a great charity that I volunteered with last winter through Globalteer called the New Hope Community Centre www.newhopecambodia.com. This is really an inspirational project that helps some of the most deprived children and their families. It’s a grassroots project that aims to help the local community through free education, vocational training, monthly food packages and housing. Just think for the equivalent price of two/three cocktails, a family can be fed on rice for a month. Anyway enough of the guilt trip, just sponsor me for the pure amusement factor. I am not exactly the bravest of souls (although I may pretend otherwise) and am ridiculously clumsy and unlucky; therefore there’s a high chance that something strange will happen. I’m paying for the skydive (a little birthday present to myself) so all the money will be going straight to the charity. Please play a part in my ‘oh no I’m in my thirties’ crisis and dig deep.
