On the 29th of october 2012 I'm running the Dublin marathon to raise money for mesothelioma UK.

On the 18 of March 2012 my dad Denis Cooke passed away after a long and very painful battle with malignant pleural mesothelioma.
My dad was a very fit and active man, he loved fishing and lots of other outdoor activities, he would play table tennis, golf, run marathons, and He was a very fit and strong man.
After he was diagnosed he went through chemotherapy, radiotherapy and several procedures but even with his incredible strength and determination very little could be done with this relentless terminal condition.
