I am a Consultant Anaesthetist working with Bowel Cancer patients. The surgeons and I work hard to provide a safe enviroment for these patients with multiple problems, medical and social.

We aim to do key hole surgery and discharge patients back to their family and friends as safely and quickly as possible.

Bowel Cancer UK helps support these people before and after their surgery.

As a cyclist I took part in last year's Prudential ride and was humbled by the support that many riders gave to their favourite charities, so this year I have chosen to raise funds for a charity that will directly effect the people I try to cure with my surgeons on a daily basis.
