Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

When you donate please enter the name of the hiker you are sponsoring or write 'Group' so that all the members can keep an eye on their donations.

Last year my dad, Bill Heppell, was very fortunate to get a bed at Willow Burn for his final days. The care he received was superb and the staff were excellent. This wonderful hospice could not function without a lot of fundraising and that is why I have put together this walk. Many of the walkers are friends who have also experienced a loss recently or know someone who has been to Willow Burn.

Our walk consists of climbing Skiddaw, Helvellyn and Scafell Pike, a walking distance of 25+ miles and just short of 10,000ft of climbing in one day.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
