2018  Normandy Beaches to Saint-Malo

This year’s big bike ride took us to France along the beautiful Normandy coastline to Mont St Micheal and then onto  Brittany and St Malo.

Weather was kind to us with the first day being a grueling 93 miles with too many hills, the next day was equally hard, less hills but more miles 106 .. The last day was pleasurable, as only 40 miles and a lovely sunny day.  With the 11 mile ride from the ferry at the beginning  over 250 miles done in 3 days.

We rode through some beautiful countryside, lovely quaint villages and past the Normandy landing beaches, a reminder of so much past sacrifice allowing  us to enjoy the freedoms of today.
