Now back from the ride.
278 miles in all, the last day was 115 miles which was a real slog.
Riding through 5 countries ( if you count riding onto the ferry at Dover !) England - France -Belgium - Holland - Germany.
By far the best county to ride through was Belgium, cycle paths on every road and the bike has right of way over cars and lorries ! Very strange site to be riding round a roundabout with a gigantic juggernaut sitting still waiting for you to pass.
The Beer Festival in Cologne at the end of the ride was a real experience and certainly helped numb the pain.
Thank you again for all your generous support it really is appreciated.
The money raised really does make a difference to children who will never be lucky enough to enjoy life as we do.
