I decided to try canoing across ireland as its something different and i 've never heard of anyone doing it, and i like a challenge. Most of the trip will be myself and my 13 year old son meara. I am going to try and do the trip in two legs, averaging 26 km a day
Royal Canal from Dublin through Meath. Down the river Inny to join Loch Ree then the Shannon and the south through the shannon river/ lakes.
