Story
Why would anyone at the tender age of 45 want to spend the next 4 months running up and down the spectacular West Somerset coastline in order to get fit enough to survive running 26 miles along the streets of London with thousands of other people. Here is why.......................
Penny Brohn is important to me because my wife, Rachael has relied on the support of the Penny Brohn centre during three occurences of breast cancer over the last 16 years. Penny Brohn enables people to retain control and optimism when faced with a life threatening illness. The centre is free for anyone with cancer to use and depends entirely on charity donations to exist.
If I can walk the next day after the marathon I will be happy but if I have raised £2500 I will be even happier. In fact if I raise over £2500 I will run the Marathon playing an accordion.......
Any donations gratefully received
Rocky
