Story
Well I am off again this time to Kenya; again I am raising money for Macmillan who are an excellent charity and yes again in memory of several realtives who have suffered and died from this terrible diease including both my parents...
Covering 550km over changing terrain, Escape to Africa is a vigorous challenge.
Starting just east of Nairobi in Kenya, the route will cross rough savannah, through wooded bush land, past the foot of the highest, freestanding mountain in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro, and over the finish line at the largest intact volcanic crater on earth, the Ngorongoro Crater.
I have now donated the full amount of the costs (£350 + £1370) to Macmillan so every penny goes directly to them!
