The British Forces Foundation boosts the morale of servicemen and women of our Armed Forces on the frontline and in operational theatres all over the world, primarily through high quality entertainment featuring well-known stars.

Story

Thanks for not ignoring my email and getting this far....

I've decided to try and ride 100 miles over the Olympic road race course and raise money for the British Forces Foundation (www.bff.org.uk).  As an ex-soldier I know personally how very important morale is.  Since I served, conflicts and technology have changed, but one thing that has remained constant is the need for morale - and that sits at the very centre of what the BFF does.  On their website they say it better:

"The British Forces Foundation boosts the morale of servicemen and women on the frontline and in operational theatres all over the world, primarily through high quality entertainment."

And they mean "high quality" - Pixie Lott, Katherine Jenkins, James Blunt, John Bishop, Jimmy Carr and more.  Please do have a look at the website to see what they do - any money you can donate will make a dangerous tour just a bit more bearable for our deployed forces.

And as if 100 miles isn't tough enough, I've just had my left knee rebuilt, so will have to finish my physio treatment before I can even think about starting my training!

If you'd like to help the BFF, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the BFF. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the BFF.

So please dig deep and donate what you can to help the BFF do what they do best.

Thank you,

Andrew
