I have worked at Percy Hedley School since September 2011. In that short space of time I have witnessed the incredible difference that the staff here make.

The foundations on which the sucesses at Percy Hedley are laid is the incredible team of Teachers, Therapists and Support Staff - the provision is second to non. I have had the priviledge of witnessing the differences made to the lives of the pupils and their families  this year. It is thanks to the great staff team that these differences are made.

Due to the current economic climate, we need to raise £181,000 in the short term. As you can imagine this has proved a challenge to all concerned. We wish to maintain the outstanding provision which enriches the lives of our students. In order to achieve this, I have decided to complete the Great North Run and the Redcar 1/2 Marathon to raise this sum of money.
