Having done a couple of treks for charity in the past I decided it was time to do one for the charity closest ot my heart being Caring for Cats East Yorkshire. We could certianly do with some extra funds as we receive no official support of any kind and especially as we were very badly affected by the floods in the part of the world in 2007, from which we haven't yet recovered.

So, next October I shall be setting off for a 9 day trek in the mountains of northern Thailand. Anyone who has been out for a decent walk with me will know that this is not going to be a holiday. As a vertigo sufferer, each up and downhill step will be a challenge. I shall keep thinking about our local stray cats and kittens every step of the way!
