My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

The 1800metres of the North Face of the Eiger is a worthy challenge and I'll be following in the footsteps (or belay holds) of the great Chris Bonnington who led the first British ascent.

However, Dad says I can't have time off school so I've got to take part in a climb with a difference. We'll be attempting to cover the total height of the climb on a climbing wall in Milton Keynes. That will be 150 sponsored ascents. Hopefully there won't be too much ice and snow around when we do the climb on 16th May. Dad promises that he'll keep a good hold off the safety rope so please sponsor me. If I don't raise enough cash Dad says he'll have to let me down the quick way ie letting go, 'cos it won't be worth holding on. So it's for a good cause in more ways than one.

The charity we're doing this for is MK Bridgebuilder Trust. Some of you were kind enough to sponsor Dad when he did the three peaks walk for the charity last year.  The Bridgebuilder Trust works in local schools to communicate Christian values to young people in a lively and engaging way. This is my opportunity to make a difference as well, so go on -you know it makes sense.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Milton Keynes Bridgebuilder Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
