About my charity : Room To Read Room To Read
Room to Read partners with local communities throughout the developing world to establish schools, libraries, and other educational infrastructure. We seek to intervene early in the lives of children in the belief that education is a lifelong gift that empowers people to ultimately improve socioeconomic conditions for their families, communities, countries, and future generations. Through the opportunities that only an education can provide, we strive to break the cycle of poverty, one child at a time.

My personal message:

On Sunday 20th July, I will be hiking the 50km length of the Hong Kong Trail, which winds through the mountains of Hong Kong Island from The Peak to Big Wave Bay.

I am doing this to raise funds for Room To Read, a charity dedicated to educating children in the developing countries of Asia and Africa. www.roomtoread.org

We want to raise US$26,000 to help create four school libraries in rural southern Vietnam and publish 10,000 copies of a local language children's story book.

Every $2,500 we raise over our target will fund the entire education of a young Vietnamese girl.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.  So please sponsor me by clicking on the button above now and help to give thousands of children a brighter future.

Thanks

Andy
