This year I am raising money for Kidney Research. To do this I am running once every weekend in October. On the 1st Oct I have the Great North Run, 8th Oct Henley Half Marathon, 15th Oct Swindon Half Marathon, 22nd Oct Great South Run and finally 29th Oct Salisbury Half Marathon.

I am running for Kidney Research which has done some wonderful work for my cousin so please give as much money as you can.

Only one week to go til the start of the runs. Starting to regret it a little now so if anyone fancies coming along to any of the runs to do a bit of supporting, I have balloons and flags for you to wave and one lucky person will get my running vest as I don't really suit it. Its as if I'm wearing lycra!

Thats one run done. I finished the Great North Run in 2 hours and 33 minutes. Only four more to go!

Second one finished, this time in a time of 2 hours 27 minutes. Getting faster. Enjoying them so much now doing another 4 half marathons in November!

Third run was OK. Ended up walking the last 7 miles with a friend due to her having a knee problem. Due to this we were 13th last and did it in 3 hours 20 minutes. To be truthful it was a nice rest.

Fourth run was wow. Only 10 miles but ran it in 1 hour 47 minutes in the pouring rain. So much fun.

Fifth run. Unfortunately due to myself feeling absolute c**p, I've had to give this one a miss. However I will still complete the 5 runs for charity, the next one will be on the 5th November in Marlow.
