Riding For The Disabled Association - Abingdon Group- Sponsored Abseil · 28 June 2009 ·

From a purpose built centre in Oxon, we specialise in providing riding to private individuals, from all ages and a wide spectrum of disabilities. We provide as many riders as possible with the opportunity to ride to benefit their health and well being, and to support the achievement of their goals.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Well, I did it! As you can see from the pictures on the left, I survived. By the time I was a third of the way down, I started to get the hang of it (literally).

Anyway there's still time to donate, if you feel so inclined.

My daughter Martha (with me in the picture) has learning difficulties and autism. She benefits so much from vaulting and riding with RDA Abingdon group.

I can't say I "jumped" at the chance to dangle my legs over the edge of the JR Hospital roof but in odd way am sort of looking forward to it. (Apparently it affords great views of Oxford, don't think I'll notice them, somehow.)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Abingdon Group Riding For The Disabled Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
