We have just launched our latest cycling event - the Massif Midi Challenge which takes place on 24 - 31st May - a 540 mile event involving over 12,000 metres of climbing over the Massif Central - and I am writing to you to see if you would kindly sponsor me to raise money in support this year of Cancer Charities. This is particularly important to me this year as my mother struggles bowel and liver cancer and is currently once again undergoing chemotherapy. However, we all seem to know someone who is affected by this terrible disease. 

I do not promise to do it all on this bike though!

In these difficult times, charities are suffering badly and causes like this really do need support. I can assure you that EVERY PENNY you give will go to charity - that's because I pay in FULL for the cost of the trip personally so that everything you give goes to charity.
