I took part in the Great Scottish Run 2008 half marathon in Glasgow on 7 September to raise money for World Vision's water campaign.

Over 1.2 billion people have no access to safe clean drinking water.  Many of these people are exposed to diseases like cholera and thyphoid.   You can read World Vision's website if you want to find more details of what that means for these people.

Your donation could make a huge difference to the lives of some of those people.  £9 could buy a tap so women and children have water close by.  £26 can bring clean water to 25 people.
