Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

On the 4th September we plan to swim Loch ness. Its 24 miles and the water temperature is around 8 degrees. We hope to complete the swim in around 10 hours. The team is Andrew Hanlon, Luke Sedge, Dave Matthews, Jim Parris and Alan Freaney.

Three of us completed the Channel swim in 2007 and raised just over £1000. I am hoping to raise double that with the Loch ness swim. The money is going to Rutherford School which is an Independent Day School in South Croydon for 25 children, aged 2 - 12 years, who have profound and multiple learning difficulties, associated physical disabilities and complex medical needs. The pupils also have communication difficulties and many have a visual impairment.

We would be most grateful for anything you can give to this amazing school. Thanks for taking the time to log on to this page, wish us the best of luck.
