Ladies and Gentlemen, friends and family, I'm sponsoring Daisy's Dream (see details below) and can sadly say that having personal experience of the trauma that bereavement can have on young children I just wanted to help to make a contribution to both a local charity and a worthy cause. This is my first mass sponsoring effort for 30 years so please help me as best you can. I'll be "running" in the Windsor (or should that be "Windsore") Half Marathon and will be searching the entire 21km for a lift! I'm hoping to run around 2 hours and I know as a consequence some of my banking colleagues will be desperate to therefore introduce a performance fee - be as reasonable as you know that I would be..... I'm hoping that I won't be overtaken by both a gorilla and a camel (like last time..) I noticed that when Tom Jack ran a Marathon a few years ago the standard banker donation was £100 so if nothing else the level of donations should give us an idea of the magnitude of the credit crunch! I'm not expecting anything like that from friends, family or work colleagues of course....seriously anything will be appreciated by myself and Daisy's dream. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also ("probably") the most efficient way to sponsor me: Daisy's Dream gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now! It also saves me having to hassle you constantly....:-)
