Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. My name is Andy and I served in the Royal Army Medical Corps for 23 years retiring in 2000. In all the time serving around the world as far as Belize, Gulf War 1, N Ireland, Bosnia, Germany, I was lucky to have come through unscathed. Many of our brave Servicemen and women were not as fortunate as me. I am now employed as the Principal Operating Department Practitioner at the Royal Surrey County Hospital Guildford and I am also the National Secretary for the All Arms Veterans Motorcycle Club. To do my little bit for Help for Heroes, I have decided to have my head shaved and beard shaved off. Friends at work have convinced me to have some 'waxing' done. This event will be taking place on my birthday, (29 September 2008) in the Operating Theatres at the Royal Surrey. I know in the current financial climate it is difficult to find extra money but please see if you can donate something to help for heroes.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Help for Heroes gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now! Thanks very much for reading this, best wishes Andrew
