Our personal message:

FOR ARCHIE

To those fortunate enough to have known him, Archie Frances was & forever will be a very special man indeed. Possessed of a kind & caring nature he was a loving man who was greatly loved in return.

Generous of spirit he would do anything for anyone, whether he knew them, or not, was simply irrelevant.

He always conducted himself with a grace & dignity, sadly missing in a vast part of today's society, and befitting only a veteran of war.

He was a proud man & rightly so, he was a devoted Husband, Father of 5, Grandfather & Great Grandfather, not to mention a loving Son to his parents. He was also proud of his garden and was rarely happier than when tending to it & making it a safe & inviting enviroment for all of natures visitors.

He was the cornerstone of His family, He was it's beating heart. He gave us all the courage to go out & face the world & was the compass to guide us all home again.

Archie was all these things & more to those fortunate enough to have known him and to those who didn't, He was a missed opportunity.

The Hospice of St. Francis (Berkhamsted), not only took excellent care of Archie during his final days, but also took great care of His family as well & they still do, offering support & a shoulder whenever, wherever.

The Hospice & it's remarkable staff are, staggeringly, not recipients of government funding and are wholly reliant on the generosity of the community of Berkhamsted & people like us who have unfortunatly found ourselves in need of their unique brand of care.

Please remember Archie by donating as much or as little as you can afford, in His name and help St. Francis continue to help others.

Thank You.
