I am running the 2008 British London 10K on 6th July to raise money for Edward's Trust. And anyone who knows how unfit I've become lately will know how much of a challenge this will be !

Edward's Trust is a charity which is particularly dear to Helen & me following our month long stay in Birmingham in 2005, when our son, Lucas, underwent a Liver transplant. We know firsthand of the amazing and life changing support work the Trust does and how invaluable it really is. Since 2005 Edward's Trust have continued to support us, and us them. The date of this run also has special significance for Helen and me.  

Edward's Trust provides:

- a wide range of support services to bereaved families and children, through their Sunrise centre

- accommodation (at Edward House) and support to families whilst their seriously ill child undergoes in-patient treatment at the Diana Princess of Wales Birmingham Children's Hostpital

- training and consultancy services for school staff, parents or others working with bereaved children and their families.
