On Sunday 20th September I will be taking part in the 20th Berlin International Marathon.
Berlin is one of the top marathon courses in the world with a reputation for record breaking performances. The ambition of the organisers is to see this year's winner achieve a new marathon world record.
I have more modest ambitions. Namely to complete the 26.2 mile course, run through the Brandenburg Gate and collect the traditional glass of German lager handed to all finishers.
I am collecting sponsorship for the Springboard project which is a UK based charity providing support and recreational services to disabled and special needs children.
I would be really grateful for any contribution that you can make to my fundraising. Springboard will ensure that every penny you donate is put to good use and it makes my run around Berlin all the more satisfying.
Thank you for your support.
Regards
Andrew
