<p><span style="color: #993366;"><strong>When Mum, Jeanne, was diagnosed with Alzheimers we were all deeply shocked. It was particularly hard on my Dad, Tony.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #993366;"><strong>She had been a bit distant and not her usual animated self. As time went on we all realised that she was suffering from more than depression and her worsening and varying symptons led us to realise that she was being affected by something quite different.</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #993366;"><strong>We found support from the Alzheimer's Society and Social Services initially and then later were relieved to find Alzheimer's Research UK who are actively researching preventions, treatments and a cure for dementia</strong></span></p>
