Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit this page.

I'm attempting to run the Brighton Marathon on 15th April in order to raise money for the British Liver Trust. My father passed away in 2010, having been on the Liver transplant list for some time due to primary sclerosing colangitis (PSC). The charity is therefore very dear to me, having witnessed the devastating consequences that Liver disease can have - losing the most amazingly kind, generous, intelligent and loving father that anyone could ever wish for.

If you could spare a few pounds - even if it's just the cost of a pint (which your liver might thank you for too!) - it would mean a great deal to me and the charity, and will help to keep my legs going through the last few miles of the race.

The British Liver Trust are the foremost UK charity in this field and the research which they help fund is vital to progress earlier and more accurate diagnosis of liver disease and to search for cures. More information can be found at www.britishlivertrust.org.uk.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

And if you haven't done so already, please think about registering here to join the NHS Organ Donor register.

Thank you very much in advance for your support.
