hiya

Im andy dakin and on the 1st may im setting out to walk the coast to coast. I am doing this walk with a friend and Its gonna take atleast 12 days to complete. So for 12 days its gonna be nothing but me, my rucksack and a tent. The walk starts at st bee's and finishes at robin hoods bay, it is 192 miles altogther.

This walk is something i wanted to do for awhile now so thought id might aswell raise some money for charity whilst doing it. I chose JDRF (juvenile diabetes research foundation) because it is something i feel pasionate about as my mum has diabetes and seen what she goes through on a daily basis and the thought of a child having to go through the same really touches my heart.

Whilst im away my partner will keep you upto date on where i am and how im doing.
